For twenty six years, Rabbi Joshua and Brocha Chana Metzger have organized the construction of the spacious Sukkah at the epicenter of Manhattan, across the street from Chabad of Midtown.

Multitudes of Israeli tourists visit Manhattan on holiday vacation. They are overjoyed to unexpectedly find a Sukkah on Fifth Avenue.

As in years past, Chabad Midtown branches organized public Sukkahs around Midtown:

Down Fifth Avenue at Madison Square Park near 26th Street, Rabbi Levi and Perel Shmotkin of Chabad Young Professionals welcomed visitors to an attractively designed Sukkah.

A Sukkah in the spacious yard at Chabad Beekman Sutton Center & Preschool welcomed area families. Guests enjoyed gourmet meals and children’s programs led by Rabbi Shmuel and Raizy Metzger.

University students from FIT, Baruch College, Stern College and area colleges attended a Sukkah at FIT. Malka Werde leads Chabad student activities at FIT.

Due to strong winds, an aerodynamic Sukkah at Hudson Yards and The Highline was once again organized by Mendel and Avi Metzger. A dedicated group of boys welcomed visitors there all week.

Chabad Midtown’s Yudel Rader and Sarah Perel Metzger welcomed visitors and organized gourmet holiday meals and holiday events at the library Sukkah.
